    We resume our monthly cooking series with Viveca, a culinary vocational instructor with The Rose House. At each session, she will address good nutrition and menu planning, kitchen safety, and skills training. Participants will divide into teams, prepare dinner, and then eat together.
    Transportation will be available at 3:00 p.m. from the Budd Lake office, or you can meet us at the PAL Building in Parsippany.
    Please alert Jennifer of any food allergies or sensitivities or kitchen concerns. You may bring an apron if you wish.

    When: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

    Eat lunch at home; then, meet our ANO friends at the office for a van ride to the Mylestone Equine Rescue Farm in Phillipsburg for their annual fund-raising Open House. We will focus on the healthy horses and enjoy the cheerful festival atmosphere.
    Send a brown bag snack or bring spending money for a bake sale snack and drink. There will be vendors and a small rummage sale.
    Please dress for the weather, as this is an outside event and runs rain or shine.

    Please note: This event is for teens 14 and older.

    Join us for dinner at Panera. We will then walk downstairs for a G- or PG-rated movie. We will provide dinner, the movie ticket, and a movie snack. When I confirm your registration, I will inform you of the movie choice and confirm the beginning and ending times of this event.
    Please note: This activity is for our Sussex County participants.
    Please bring $25 cash to purchase dinner at Panera and your movie ticket.

    Join us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon for our monthly series of Arts in the Afternoon. We’ll make some apple crisp to share for snack, and have some October-themed paper craft materials available for creating. We will also listen to music, enjoy conversation, play board games, and take an afternoon walk.
    Feel free to bring a CD or game to share. Air conditioning at this site can run cool.
    Please eat lunch before you come and bring a peanut- and tree-nut–free snack and a drink.

    Meet at the Budd Lake office at 5:30 p.m. to drive to Burger King on Rte. 31 South for dinner. Then, we will head down to Echo Hill Lodge to socialize and dance at the Hunterdon Arc Halloween Party. Comfortable costumes are encouraged (or at least “Halloween festive” attire)! For those living in Warren County, you can meet us at Burger King at 6:15 p.m. for dinner and the trip.
    Please bring $25 cash to pay for Burger King and admission to the dance.

    INVISIBLE FOR SEPTEMBER Participants of all ages are invited to Music and Movement with Stella, alone or with a parent. Staff will be on hand to support our registered participants, as needed. Afterward, a pizza and fruit dinner will be provided for all.
