Participants of our Adults’ Night Out family-support service are getting ready for a festive dance at Echo Lake Lodge, joining their many friends from other agencies.
Anyone who has been out in the community, shopping, is well aware that Halloween is almost here. Over the past week, the children, teens, and adults we serve got a head start on the festivities. We hope their fun and imaginative costumes—along with the themed activities in which they participated—offer our followers some ideas!
The adults weren’t the only ones to have fun. Children and teens from Morris, Sussex, and Warren counties enjoyed an evening of Halloween musical activities; many of them showing off their costumes.

The children and teens of our Parents’ Night Out program dance to their rhythms in a music class.

Music and movement! This festive activity brings smiles to all.

Music brings much joy to our youngest consumers!

One of our teens shows off his lively hip-hop steps, as Jen, our Parents’ Night Out coordinator joins in!
…more fun in Passaic and Essex
Meanwhile, the adults we serve in Passaic and Essex counties through our Weekend Recreation program had their day of fun, as well.

Many wearing costumes, our Weekend Recreation participants partake in a Halloween-themed game of Bingo.

The group takes a break to enjoy a pizza brunch.

A themed craft brings out conversation – and plenty of smiles.

Every costume is a winner!
Down in South Jersey
Autumn and Halloween were themes among our young Parents’ Night Out—South participants. At Indian Acres Farm, Medford (LEFT), the pumpkins weren’t the only ones smiling! In addition, the annual Fall Harvest Party (RIGHT) was a time to savor seasonal treats.

Parents’ Night Out – South children enjoy a day of pumpkin picking and hayrides at a local farm.

Seasonal celebrations continued both at the Barrington office and a nearby bowling alley in the community.
We wish you a happy, festive, and safe Halloween!
