This Month's Activities
Hello! Please check off all the events you would like to join us for this month.
Parents' Night Out is a site- and community-based program that provides children and teens with events that provide them with the opportunity to interact with their peers. In the meantime, parents and guardians are afforded time for themselves.
This form is only for families who have already pre-registered with Advancing Opportunities. If you are interested in participating in Parents' Night Out, please contact Jennifer Palmer, at firstname.lastname@example.org

Please register as early in the month as possible to allow for staffing arrangements.
For teens, 12 and over: We will meet in the downstairs conference room at the Budd Lake office and then drive to the Pequest Trout Hatchery, where we will visit numerous exhibits and hope to take a turn fishing. Please dress to be outside, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a bagged lunch. There will be quite a bit of walking. Please sign up early, as this trip requires a minimum of six participants to run. If you would like to go with your family instead and meet us there, please check the Pequest Trout Hatchery website
When: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tonight, we’ll have some strawberry-themed activities and work together to prepare strawberry shortcake for snack. We will have our usual games and toys and will take an evening walk.
Please eat dinner before you come. PNO will provide snack and drinks tonight.
When: 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Gather to socialize with your friends. We hope it will be a sunny evening, so we can play outside on the playground and take walks. We’ll have our usual play dough, toys and games, and music.
Eat dinner before you come. Please bring a peanut and tree-nut–free snack and drink.
When: 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

We have reserved a private room at the Morris County Library, where we can socialize with our friends. We’ll have a summer-themed art activity, some drawing supplies, and some read-aloud time. Feel free to bring a CD to share. If the weather is good, we’ll take a walk outside. Limited transportation may be available back to the office after the event.

When: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Meet us for bowling and a pizza dinner at Pastime Lanes. Please note this is a 2-hour event, so be on time for fun! Participants 12 and older can come alone or bring family members. Limited transportation will be available from the Budd Lake office at 5:00 p.m.
When: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Pastime Lanes, Rte. 24 (behind 2 West Main St., across the street from the Black Horse Pub & Tavern), Mendham, NJ 07945
Eat lunch at home, in our private room at the library. We will socialize with our friends, use some drawing supplies, and have some read-aloud time. We hope the weather is good so we can visit the playground adjacent to the library. There may be limited transportation the office after the event.

We will meet at Panera for dinner and then walk downstairs for a G- or PG-rated movie. PNO will provide dinner, the movie ticket, and a movie snack. When I confirm your registration, I will inform you of the movie choice and confirm the beginning and ending times of this event.

Start your holiday weekend right. We will gather in the downstairs conference room to eat our bagged dinners and make some red, white, and blue-themed crafts. If the weather is good, we will take a walk to the apartment complex playground.
