Hello. Please check off all of the events you would like to join us for this month.
This form is only for families who have already pre-registered with Advancing Opportunities. If you are interested in participating in Adults' Night Out, please contact Jennifer Palmer at jpalmer@advopps.org.
Or you can reach Jennifer Palmer at 973-426-1522 ext. 113.
We continue our monthly cooking series with Viveca, a culinary vocational instructor with The Rose House. At each session, she will address good nutrition and menu planning, kitchen safety, and skills training. Participants will divide into teams, prepare dinner and then eat together. Transportation will be available at 3:00 p.m. from the Budd Lake office, or you can meet us at the PAL building in Parsippany. Please alert Jennifer of any food allergies/sensitivities or kitchen concerns. You may bring an apron if you wish.
    When: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Where: Police Athletic League, 33 Baldwin Rd., Parsippany, NJ 07054
Take me out to the ballgame! Meet us at the Budd Lake office and we will transport to TD Bank Stadium for an afternoon game, the Somerset Patriots versus the York Revolution. We will plan to eat lunch as soon as we get there and stay until the 7th inning stretch or 3:45 p.m.—whichever is later. Pickup is back at the office. ANO will purchase lunch, drinks, and ice cream at the game. If they wish, participants may bring souvenir money. Our seats are in full sun, so please wear a hat and/or sunglasses and get out the sunscreen! A jacket is recommended if the weather is breezy.
    When: 11:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Where: TD Bank Ballpark, 880 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807
Eat lunch at home, then meet us in the downstairs conference room for a field trip to Fosterfields Living Historical Farm. We have invited the older PNO children as well, so this will be a mixed-age program. We will travel in agency vehicles to the farm, where our tour will include meeting the newest spring piglets. Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven ground—please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather, including applying sunscreen if needed. ANO will provide water during the trip and a snack when we return. Eastern Morris County folks: Please let Jennifer know if you would rather meet us at the farm.
    When: 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, 73 Kahdena Rd., Morristown, NJ 07960
Join us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon for our monthly series of Arts in the Afternoon. Today, we will make a spring flower arrangement with self-made and artificial flowers. We will also have the adult coloring so many enjoy. We will listen to music, enjoy conversation, play board games and take an afternoon walk (it is always extra breezy here—so bring warm jacket). Please eat lunch before you come and bring a snack and drink. Feel free to bring a CD or game to share.
    When: 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Center for Healthier Living, Hackettstown Medical Arts Building, 108 Bilby Rd., Ste. 101, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
Participants of all ages are invited to Music and Movement with Stella, alone or with a parent. Staff will be on hand to support our registered participants as needed. Afterward, a dinner of pizza, veggies, and fruit will be provided for all.
    When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Panther Valley Ecumenical Church, 1490 County Rte. 517, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 (It's exit 19 off Rte. 80.)
